OSTAAGAR Shipping & Logistics Policy

Ostaagar operates a specialized B2B logistics network designed to transport bulk inventory directly from manufacturing units to your registered business location. By placing an order on the platform, you agree to the following shipping and logistics terms.

1. Shipment Processing & Timelines

  • Factory Dispatch: Since products are sourced directly from factories, mills, and manufacturing units, orders generally require 2–4 business days for quality inspection, inventory verification, and secure packaging before handover to logistics partners.
  • Standard Delivery: Depending on the distance between the origin factory and the buyer warehouse, deliveries generally take 5–10 business days.
  • Express Shipping: Select logistics corridors may support express cargo services with estimated delivery timelines of 3–5 business days.

2. Logistics Fees

  • Weight-Based Calculation: Shipping charges are calculated based on total dead weight, package dimensions, and volumetric weight of the bulk consignment.
  • Transparent Pricing: Applicable logistics fees are displayed clearly at checkout and included in the official commercial invoice.
  • Bundled Shipping: Orders sourced from multiple factories may arrive in separate consignments at different times to optimize dispatch speed from each manufacturing location.

3. Delivery Protocols

  • Address Accuracy: Buyers must provide accurate delivery addresses, warehouse details, and contact information. Delivery locations should be accessible to heavy cargo vehicles, trucks, or tempos.
  • Unloading Responsibility: As a wholesale B2B marketplace, unloading labor and cargo handling arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer at the delivery destination.
  • Restricted Zones: If delivery destinations fall within restricted entry zones for commercial vehicles, buyers must coordinate with the delivery partner to arrange suitable delivery timing.

4. Consignment Tracking

  • Real-Time Tracking: Every order is assigned a unique Consignment ID. Buyers can track shipment progress through the "Track Logistics" section inside the application.
  • Shipment Milestones: Tracking updates may include: Quality Check, Packed, In Transit, Out for Delivery, and Delivered Successfully.
  • Notifications: Buyers may receive push notifications, SMS alerts, or in-app updates regarding shipment movement and delivery attempts.

5. Receipt & Inspection

  • Outer Packaging Inspection: Upon arrival, buyers should inspect the outer packaging, seals, gunny bags, and cartons for visible signs of damage or tampering.
  • Proof of Delivery (POD): Once the Proof of Delivery document is signed, the buyer acknowledges successful receipt of the listed consignments.
  • Shortages & Missing Bundles: Any missing cartons, shortages, or damaged cargo should be reported immediately while the logistics partner remains on-site.

6. Cash on Delivery (COD) Shipments

  • Payment Readiness: For COD consignments, the complete invoice amount must be paid via Cash, UPI, or approved payment methods before cargo handover.
  • Repeated Refusal: Frequent refusal of confirmed consignments may result in permanent suspension of COD facilities for the associated business account.

7. Areas Served

Ostaagar currently services major commercial and industrial hubs across India. If logistics partners do not support a selected PIN code, the application may notify users during address selection or checkout.
