OSTAAGAR Official Seller Policy

This Seller Policy governs the responsibilities, operational standards, and marketplace compliance requirements for all sellers, manufacturers, wholesalers, and business partners using the OSTAAGAR platform.

1. Product Authenticity & Standards

OSTAAGAR maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy against counterfeit, replica, duplicate, refurbished, or used products.

All products listed on the platform must be:

  • 100% original and genuine.
  • Brand new and unused.
  • Accurately represented in the listing description and images.
  • Compliant with applicable Indian laws, quality standards, and product regulations.

Violation of this policy may result in immediate and permanent account suspension without prior notice.

2. Shipping SLA (Service Level Agreement)

To maintain buyer trust and platform operational efficiency, all confirmed orders must be marked as "Ready to Ship" within 48 hours of order confirmation.

  • Delayed dispatches may negatively affect seller visibility, search ranking, and seller tier status.
  • Repeated SLA violations may lead to temporary restrictions, penalties, or suspension of selling privileges.

3. Returns & Quality Disputes

Sellers are fully responsible for maintaining product quality and shipment accuracy.

Sellers may be held liable for return shipping costs, penalties, and full refunds in the following situations:

  • Damaged or defective products.
  • Incorrect size, color, or product variation.
  • Products not matching listing images.
  • Incomplete bundles or missing units.

Sellers are strongly advised to perform rigorous quality checks before packaging and dispatch.

4. Bundle Integrity (Wholesale Standard)

OSTAAGAR operates as a wholesale-first marketplace. Therefore, bundle composition accuracy is mandatory.

Sellers must ensure that all delivered bundle quantities, ratios, sizes, and combinations exactly match the product listing.

Example: If a bundle listing specifies 2 pieces of Size M and 2 pieces of Size L, sellers must not substitute alternate ratios or sizes.

Sending incorrect bundle ratios is considered a major marketplace policy violation.

5. Fair Pricing Policy

Sellers are expected to maintain competitive and reasonable wholesale pricing.

  • Artificial price inflation beyond market standards is prohibited.
  • Misleading MRP or fake discount representation may result in listing suppression or product removal.
  • OSTAAGAR reserves the right to review suspicious pricing behavior to maintain marketplace fairness.

6. Communication & Transaction Protocol

All business communications, negotiations, and transactions must occur exclusively through the OSTAAGAR platform.

  • Sharing personal contact numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, or social media details to bypass platform transactions is strictly prohibited.
  • Attempting direct offline sales to OSTAAGAR buyers may result in immediate account suspension.

7. Product Photography Standards

Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate and professional product imagery.

  • Every product variation, especially color variations, should include at least 3 unique, high-quality images.
  • Primary images must accurately represent the actual product color, texture, and design.
  • Misleading images may increase return disputes and negatively affect seller ratings.

8. Policy Enforcement

OSTAAGAR reserves the right to investigate seller activities, conduct quality audits, suspend listings, apply penalties, or permanently terminate accounts that violate marketplace standards, platform policies, or applicable laws.
